Prestarts
OVERVIEW
Prestart values are pieces of information that are useful during the course of a project, and are often decided before the project can start (hence the name 'prestart'). There can be any number of prestart values, of any name, to store any value. The goal is to record information that is essential, useful, important for the project to be completed appropriately. It might be that much of the prestart information is available in other documents, but summarising using the prestart function saves a lot of time repeatedly searching for it.
Note that prestarts belong at site level and cover all jobs at that site.
Note that prestarts are relatively private. They don't appear on a client's portal and they don't appear on any reports.
LOCATION
The prestart function is available on the camera page so that inspectors can quickly find useful information at the point of performing an inspection. It is also available on the site details page so that managers and inspectors can see (and edit) the prestart information.
NAME VALUE PAIRS
The method of recording prestart values is called 'name value pair', that is, you give a name, you give a value, and that creates a single prestart entry. Examples include:

MANAGING PRESTARTS
Managers, admin, and inspectors can view, create, and amend prestart values.
ADD
Click the Add Prestart button and enter a prestart name. As the value can be blank it remains optional.
EDIT
Click the Edit button and give the prestart a new value. You can also rename the prestart.
DELETE
Click the delete button.
