Documents

OVERVIEW

Documents are uploaded and managed with the manage documents admin page. Documents are then available on the camera page to provide vital information for inspectors, on the site details page, and on the client portal. It is recommended to use PDF documents as they can be opened on most devices.
 

DETAILS

Documents appear in a list with a drop down list above them to select different groups of documents based on their tags. Note that the admin tag and therefore the admin related documents will only be visible to admin users.
 
 
Click any document in the list to expand the panel to see three features:
 

Preview

If possible, a preview image of the first page of the PDF is shown. This is useful to check the document is the right one before opening it, particularly with large documents over mobile connections.
 

Open

Click the open button to start downloading the document. Depending on your own device settings the document will either download, open in a browser, or open in some other application.
 

Tagging

The small plus button in the bottom right hand corner allows inspectors and managers to add tags to a document even outside of the manage documents page. Admin users can type any tag in the admin area, but users who are tagging in the document areas must pick from a list of existing tags.
 
 
A document can have multiple tags assigned.
